Just a quick note that I'm still here :-)

The courier did collect the crankshaft but it hasn't come back yet. I haven't chased it as they said 4-5 weeks. It's now 6 weeks so I might well give them a bell on Monday to see what's happening. In the meantime I haven't got on with any of the other little jobs - sorting out the sheared bolt and stripped threads etc - I'd better get the helicoil taps off Andy. Might get back out there in the garage this weekend. I have been spannering today, finished sorting the Cayenne brakes. It's been standing a week brakeless as Euro Car Parts sent me a non-matching pair of disks! In fairness to them they sent a replacement via next day courier and collected the wrong one. So now it has shiny new front disks, pads and wear sensors - Euro Car Parts were half the price of OE, the disks are generic but the pads are Pagid.
