AB Performance
Sponsor of the RGB race series Andy Bates is a top bloke, knows loads about anything bike engine but really good on everything else – electrics, suspension setup etc. Really friendly, really helpful.
Car Builder Solutions
Wide range of kitcar components, everything from wiring to exhausts, fasteners, trim etc. Their website has gradually expanded and become more professional but again great personal service on the phone.
Demon Tweeks
I know, I know, Demon Thieves and all that. But seriously I’ve found the staff there very helpful and knowledgeable whether on the phone or in the showroom and they stock a huge range of stuff.
Merlin Motorsport
Suppliers of most motorsport componentry. Rally Design will be cheaper if they stock it but Merlin offer a quality service and a very wide range of motorsport components.
Promax Motorsport
OK, so their website’s defunct and they have nothing to do with circuit racing but the boys at Promax are vastly experienced at anything mechanical. Their main claim to fame is prepping Group N Mitsubishi Evos and indeed I got to know them as they looked after my road going Evo. They also did the suspension setup on my Westfield and swapped the crownwheel and pinion on my Escort/.Sierra diff in the Fury. Trustworthy and offering good value for money. Give em a ring and tell them I sent you.
Rally Design
Score well on all the above points. Their online catalogue is pretty user friendly, prices are competitive and when you have any queries I’ve always found them to be really knowledgeable ad helpful. I’ve used them mostly for hoses, connectors, springs etc.
Tifosi
No, nothing to do with Ferrari fans but a supplier of fasteners. I get all my stainless fasteners, rivets etc. from Kevin at Tifosi. Also supplies all the SVA type stuff.
